AJ-1000  Overview

The state of the art Rtec Air jet erosion tester AJ-5000 allows to test repeated impact erosion test that delivers a stream gas with abrasive particles. The tester comes with close loop temperature control upto 900C. The tester is used to rank erosion of various materials, coatings etc. across a wide range of abrasive particle materials, shape, size at various temperature and impact speed.

Summary Specification of AJ-1000

AJ-5000 includes air pressure controller and a pressure gauge. The tester can use standard or user selected abrasive media.

Erodent particle feed system

Stainless Steel hoppers and Vibrator with programmed motorized screw conveyor

Erodent feed rate- 1 -10 gm/min 

Particle Hopper capacity- 1 liter

Particle speed- 30-150 m/sec

Double Disc Velocity Measurement -  The time-of-flight of the particles is determined over a controlled path length between two rotating disks. This double disc velocity method allows precise process control in real time.

Temperature
Temperature - Inline real time temperature monitoring with PID close loop control  helps to study effect of temperature on the results high higher confidence. AJ-5000 can go upto 900C temperature.

Mixing and Impingement Angle
Mixing of hot air and erodent particle done based on the software request. The angle of impingemet angle can be changed to multiple positions 15,30,45,60,90 Degree

Touch screen easy interface  - The touch screen interface makes the tool very easy to learn and operate.
