Our Scratch and Indentation Tester line covers nanoindentation, microindentation, scratch adhesion, film thickness etc, testing in one product family.

The SMT-5000 combines nano and micro indentation, scratch testing, and tribology on a single platform, with integrated 3D profilometry to image results without moving the sample. The SMT-2000 focuses on high-precision nanoindentation, and the SMT-1000 brings the same fundamentals to teaching and training labs.

For extreme-environment work, the NanoTest Xtreme performs nano and micro indentation from -150°C to 1200°C in vacuum, while the NanoTest Vantage covers -30°C to 850°C — both suited to coatings, thin films, and advanced materials tested under realistic service conditions.
